I'll let this picture speak for itself. Small as they look - when you're less than 100 miles from the Epicenter - there's a GOOD chance you may feel at least some of them. I only felt one of them (a 4.1 off the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica). I must admit, especially being from California - ALL these earthquakes are getting kinda old and I must admit, I OFTEN get a little jumpy the first few seconds having been through MANY MANY MUCH bigger ones!! But let's hope the belief that all these little ones are just letting off steam to avoid a bigger one is true!!! (I can't help but wonder why Nicaragua does NOT seem to have hardly any earthquakes compared to Costa Rica???)
